The chamber has a burner arrangement comprises a pre-mixing passage opening into a combustion zone (47) for preparation of a fuel/air mixture, and an interference body (50) assigned with a Strouhal number for generation of fluidically induced sound waves. The interference body is arranged in a passage (48) opening into the combustion zone, where fluid (51) flows through the passage in the direction of the combustion zone. A sound wave with frequency corresponding to frequency of a combustion chamber pressure fluctuation to be suppressed, is generated by the flow against the interference body. An independent claim is also included for a method for suppressing combustion chamber pressure fluctuations.
