The device (10) has a pair of protective covers provided with a nacelle for an engine. An engine support mast comprises two engine mounts. The protective covers are mounted to pivot about an axis, which is parallel to a main axis (X), between an open position and a closed position. A body (1) is extended along another axis (A), which is parallel to the main axis. Two anchors (2a, 2b) are rigidly connected with the body and attached to the engine mounts of the engine support mast. The protective covers are positioned on bearing portions (11, 12). An independent claim is also included for a method for facilitating movement of an aircraft that is driven by a turbo engine propulsion system. |
