<p>The mask has a mask base body (1) that limits an inner area of the mask. A respiratory gas supply section supplies a respiratory gas to the mask inner area, and a flexible sealing unit seals the base body. The sealing unit exhibits a facial sealing lip (9) with a cushioning body (23) that is designed as a gel body. The cushioning body has a thin skin layer (33) made of silicone material. The base body is made of an elastomer material, and the sealing unit is made of a silicone material and gel-like hardened elastomer material. The cushioning body is coated with an elastomeric skin. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a respiratory mask.</p> |
