PURPOSE: A route generating device of a virtual object including a curve route and a method thereof are provided to move the virtual object according to a route combining a straight line with a curve by moving the virtual object according to route information including a kind of the route. CONSTITUTION: A route information generating unit(210) generates route information by using starting point information, destination information, and route kind information received from a user. A route information transmitting unit(240) transmits the route information to a virtual object. The route kind information indicates straight progress from a starting point to a destination or a curve progress from the starting point to the destination. The route information includes information about the curvature of a curve.
