PURPOSE: A system for monitoring a high place work vehicle based on ubiquitous sensor network communication and a monitoring method thereof are provided to stably operate the monitoring system of the high place work vehicle by using the ubiquitous sensor network communication, thereby monitoring various states of the high place work vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of ubiquitous sensor network modules(30-36) is installed in each position of a multi-stage boom of a vehicle body and is installed in a riding basket of the multi-stage boom. A ubiquitous sensor network module senses position change length and a position change angle of the multi-stage boom and senses a load of the riding basket corresponding to an operation of the multi-stage boom. A monitoring module(40) receives sensor data and provides state information for a current vehicle by comparing the sensor data with a position threshold value.
