<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new highly safe agent having sufficiently strong inhibitory actions on production of inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α and useful as an anti-inflammatory agent etc. <P>SOLUTION: The inhibitor of inflammatory cytokine production in animal cells is characterized by comprising a compound represented by formula (1) (wherein, R<SB>1</SB>, R<SB>2</SB>and R<SB>3</SB>represent each a hydrogen atom or a hydroxy group) and a 16-22C unsaturated fatty acid or a glyceride thereof or a lower alkyl ester thereof as active ingredients. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
