<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded polycarbonate product having sufficient heat ray shielding ability suitable for window glasses of common buildings and automobiles, and excellent in transparency with low solar transmittance, particularly low haze, and mechanical strength and fusing heat stability. <P>SOLUTION: The molded polycarbonate resin composition with heat ray shielding ability is produced by the addition of 0.0001-0.5 pt.wt. of fine particles of at least one metal boride selected from a group consisting of La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Y, Sm, Eu, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, Sr and Ca to 100 pts.wt. of an aromatic polycarbonate resin with moisture content of 500 ppm or over, followed by fusion, kneading and molding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
