MASS PROPAGATION METHOD OF EMPETRUM NIGRUM VAR. JAPONICUM K. KOCH VIA AXILLARY BUD CULTURE

PURPOSE: A method for proliferation of a large amount of Empetrum nigrum var. japonicum K. Koch by axillary bud culture is provided to proliferate Empetrum nigrum var. japonicum K. Koch in vivo, to restore a spontaneous land in Halla mountain, and to protect forest resources. CONSTITUTION: A method for proliferation of a large amount of Empetrum nigrum var. japonicum K. Koch by axillary bud culture comprises: a step of culturing axillary buds of Empetrum nigrum var. japonicum K. Koch in an MS(Murashige and Skoog) medium or WPM medium(Lloyd and McCown), and inducing a stem of Empetrum nigrum var. japonicum K. Koch; a step of culturing the stem in the WPM medium and proliferating the stems; a step of culturing the stems and inducing roots; and a step of culturing the rooted Empetrum nigrum var. japonicum K. Koch in artificial culture soil.
