PURPOSE: A display device and a channel search method are provided to allow the display device with a channel browser function to easily search a channel and to obtain information. CONSTITUTION: A channel browsing processing unit(150) extracts a thumbnail for image signals which are received from a plurality of tuners(110,115). When the predetermined number of same thumbnail is existed among extracted thumbnails, a control unit(105) processes a channel including the thumbnail as a double channel and deletes one or more double channels from a channel list. A storage unit(155) stores the extracted thumbnails, the inputted image signals, and a channel list.
