PURPOSE: A home device remote control and monitoring system is provided to enable a user to simply construct the system and to improve user convenience. CONSTITUTION: A home device is controlled by a control signal transmitted from an IP(Internet Protocol) camera(100). The home device includes a dedicated control device(410) and an IR(Infrared Ray) control device(420). The dedicated control device is controlled by RF(Radio Frequency) communication. A smartphone(500) includes an application for controlling the IP camera through the Internet. The smartphone transmits a control command to the IP camera with operation by a user. The smartphone displays a captured image transmitted from the IP camera.
