PURPOSE: A method for monitoring ice on the rotor blade of an aerogenerator is provided to extract a property value related to the natural frequency of the rotor blade from a vibration signal measured through a sensor and monitor the degree of variation of the property value with time, thereby diagnosing whether or not the ice is formed on the surface of the rotor blade. CONSTITUTION: A method for monitoring ice on the rotor blade of an aerogenerator includes: a vibration signal measuring step(S100) for measuring the vibration signal of the rotor blade with a sensor part; a data transmitting step(S200) for acquiring and filtering the measured vibration signal, and then transmitting the vibration signal to a receiving-signal processing part; a determining step(S300) for determining whether or not the ice is formed by obtaining a monitoring factor; and a subsequent step(S400) for indicating or warning whether or not the ice is formed on a display when the ice is determined to be formed.
