PURPOSE: A device and method for removing calculus are provided to restrict the variable position of the calculus by leading laser to the surrounded calculus. CONSTITUTION: A catheter(110) is inserted into the body having calculus. An elastic ring(120) is compacted for passing through the inside of the catheter. The elastic ring is restored into a ring shape according to the exposure in the body. An encircling net(130) is compacted with the elastic ring. The encircling net is restored into a ring shape for surrounding the calculus. A traction wire(121) is combined with the elastic ring.
