PURPOSE: A thruster for a ship is provided to reduce cavitation and to improve the propulsion efficiency in a forward rotation and a backward rotation by arranging two propellers connected by a clutch. CONSTITUTION: A thrust for a ship comprises a gear assembly(80), a first propeller(12), a second propeller(22), a first clutch(60), and a second clutch(70). The gear assembly has a driving gear, a first driven gear, and a second driven gear. The first propeller is connected to the first driven gear. The second propeller is connected to the second driven gear. The first clutch delivers the rotating force of the first driven gear to the first propeller. The second clutch delivers the rotating force of the second driven gear to the second propeller. |
