PURPOSE: A drilling core barrel connection device and a drilling core barrel connection method using the same are provided to easily connect or separate a pair of drilling core barrels. CONSTITUTION: A drilling core barrel connection device(1) comprises a drilling core barrel support unit(100), a drilling core barrel rotation unit(200), and a drilling core barrel height control unit. The drilling core barrel support unit comprises a first and a second support arm(110,120) formed in a V shape and supports the drilling core barrel. The drilling core barrel rotation unit is mounted in a hole(101) of the first and second support arms and guides rotation of the drilling core barrel by touching the drilling core barrel. The drilling core barrel height control unit is connected to the lower part of the drilling core barrel support unit and controls the height of the drilling core barrel support unit in a piston jack method.
