PURPOSE: A cabling machine for armored cables is provided to have both functions of armoring an optical cable with steel wires and armoring an optical cable with flat FRP, thereby reducing facility costs. CONSTITUTION: A cabling machine for armored cables capable of using steel wires or flat FRP as an armoring material to armor the outer sheath of an optical cable comprises a rotation frame(20), a secondary division plate(26), and a flat FRP die. The rotation frame has a circular-shaped guide plate and a first division plate(18) which are coaxially arranged. The first division plate has a plurality of division-guiding holes(16) which is arranged in a circular array. The secondary division plate has a plurality of division-guiding holes(24) which is arranged in a circular array and communicates with a cable guiding tube. The flat FRP die is attached to the front surface of the secondary division plate. |
