METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AUTO-LEARNING POSITION OF TIRE FOR TPMS SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An automatic learning method and device for the tire position of a TPMS(Tire Pressure Monitoring System) are provided to prevent accidents by significantly reducing time for automatically learning a TPMS and to extend the service life of a battery by adjusting the period of a sensor signal. CONSTITUTION: An automatic learning method for the tire position of a TPMS comprises the following steps: downloading a unique preamble signal equipped in the antenna module of a hand tool(S200); storing the preamble of the antenna module in a tire sensor by the hand tool(S220); and transmitting tire information for containing the preamble and a sensor ID to the antenna module from the tire sensor using wireless frequency communications when beginning an automatic learning process(S300).
