PURPOSE: A drain system for a ship is provided to individually repair first drain lines because first drain valves are individually connected to the first drain lines so that the first drain lines can be individually blocked for repair. CONSTITUTION: A drain system for a ship comprises sewage discharge parts, first drain lines(12a,12b,12c,12d), a sewage storage tank(30), second drain lines(13a,13b), a vacuum pump(80), and first valves(20a,20b,20c,20d). The sewage discharge parts are located in a residential section. The first drain lines are connected to the sewage discharge parts. The sewage storage tank is located in a mechanical room section. The second drain lines are connected from the first drain lines in the residential section to the sewage storage tank. The vacuum pump is connected to at least one of the second drain lines or the sewage storage tank to maintain the first and second drain lines in a vacuum state. The first valves are located at the upper part of a top deck of a ship and selectively prevent sewage from being drained from the first drain lines to the second drain lines. |
