PURPOSE: A digital device control system and a method thereof are provided to control various digital devices according to the manipulation of a user for a remote controller application installed in a smart device. CONSTITUTION: A smart device(200) generates a first control signal. The first control signal includes parameter combination information which is necessary to control a specific digital device according to the manipulation of a remote controller application of a user. A wireless signal conversion device(300) generates a second control signal which is able to be received by the specific digital device by using the parameter combination information included in the first control signal received from the smart device. The wireless signal conversion device transmits the second control signal to the specific digital device.
