PURPOSE: An image processing device for photographing a 3D image and a method thereof are provided to process images by utilizing simple analysis software and a laptop, thereby increasing portability of a guide system. CONSTITUTION: An image receiving unit(110) receives a left image photographed from a left side camera and a right image photographed from a right side camera, respectively. A frame extraction unit(120) extracts left side/right side image frames per predetermined period. A resolution reduction unit(130) reduces image resolution of the left side/right side image frames. An image output unit(140) alternately outputs the left side/right side image frames an image analysis device.
