PURPOSE: A vessel monitoring system using an optical fiber brag lattice sensor is provided to utilize the optical fiber brag sensor, thereby preventing noise generation, an electric ground connection, and a short circuit caused by electromagnetic interference. CONSTITUTION: A vessel monitoring system comprises a broadband wavelength source(100), an optical fiber brag lattice sensor(200), a distributor(300), an optical detecting unit(400), and a unit conversion unit(500). The optical fiber brag lattice sensor reflects only a wavelength satisfying a brag condition among optical wavelengths emitted by the broadband wavelength source and transmits other wavelengths. The distributor receives a composition wavelength, in which the wavelengths received from the brag lattice sensor and the wavelengths of the broadband wavelength source are composed, and distributes the same. The optical detecting unit is composed of a first optical detecting device(410) which obtains reference wavelengths by filtering only the wavelength received from the brag lattice sensor from the composition wavelength received by the distributor; and a second optical detecting device(420) which obtains shift wavelengths by filtering only the shift wavelength received from the brag lattice senor from the composition wavelengths received from the distributor. The unit conversion unit compares the wavelengths of the first and second detecting devices, thereby converting the shifted extent of the wavelengths into a temperature or pressure unit.
