PURPOSE: An image forming device using free voltage and a fixing temperature control method thereof are provided to heat a heating member by using a heating element of an NTC(Negative Temperature Coefficient) feature in a fusing device, thereby saving manufacturing expenses. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(160) outputs a control signal corresponding to a voltage level of external AC power which is detected in a voltage detection unit(150). A fixing driving circuit(140) controls a wave number and a phase of the AC power corresponding to the control signal and outputs the AC power into fixing power. A heating element(133) of one NTC feature of a fixing unit(130) is heated by receiving the fixing power. A heating member(132) is heated by the heating of the heating element and fixes an image to a printing medium.
