PURPOSE: An aramid fiber cord is provided for a reinforcing material of a rubber product etc and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve fatigue resistance and adhesion to rubber while satisfying intensity and modulus properties of aramid fiber. CONSTITUTION: An aramid fiber cord includes aramid cabled yarns. The aramid cabled yarns have a braid of 400 - 800 TPM(Twist Per Meter) respectively. The aramid single yarns are twisted with 400 - 800 TPM. The aramid cabled yarns have fatigue-resisting property of 80% or more. The aramid cord has adhesion to rubber of 13kg_f or more and intensity of 12g/d or more. A manufacturing method of the aramid fiber cord includes the following steps: manufacturing spinning dope by dissolving an aromatic polyamide polymer in a sulfuric acid solvent; spinning the spinning dope through a spinneret(100); forming multifilament by solidifying the spinning dope; drying and washing the multifilament; and heat-treating the dried multifilament. |
