<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for controlling a dew-point temperature, with which the dew-point temperature of atmospheric gas in a furnace can be uniformized without needing the installation of a dew-point temperature controlling means in the high temperature furnace. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for controlling the dew-point temperature in the furnace of the lateral-type horizontal furnace by feeding the atmospheric gas including steam into the furnace through which a steel sheet is made to pass in the horizontal direction to apply a heat treatment, the atmospheric gas including the steam is supplied into the furnace at the upstream side from an atmospheric gas supplying chamber arranged at the downstream side of the furnace and also, based on the dew-point temperature difference in the furnace, the dew-point temperature in the furnace is uniformized by adjusting the flowing amount of the atmospheric gas supplied into the furnace from the atmospheric gas supplying chamber, and preferably further, by disposing a partition plate capable of approaching and separating from the steel sheet in the atmospheric gas supplying chamber, contracted flow is generated and stirred in the atmospheric gas supplied into the furnace from the atmospheric gas supplying chamber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
