<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that can be controlled so as to obtain a proper exposure even if there exists a photometric area having a subject luminance equal to or less than a low luminance limit, a control method thereof, and a program. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 sets a weighting coefficient for a photometric value which is not subjected to correction according to a luminance limit value to be higher than a weighting coefficient for a photometric value which is subjected to correction according to the luminance limit value, and performs weighting operation for the plural photometric values obtained by photometry, and determines an exposure value on the basis of the operational results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
