摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress stain generation in display due to influence of a lateral electric field from pixels adjacent to each other. <P>SOLUTION: The electro-optic device driving method according to the present invention comprises: a first step of controlling, based on image data specifying an optic state of an electro-optic element on a pixel-by-pixel basis, a voltage applied to a scanning line, a signal line, and an element driving power source line so that a first voltage is being applied to a pixel electrode for at least one pixel, the absolute value of the first voltage being higher than an element driving voltage that changes the optic state of the electro-optic element, or so that the pixel electrode is being in a high impedance state; and a second step of controlling a voltage applied to a scanning line, a signal line, and an element driving power source line so that a second voltage is being applied to a pixel electrode for one pixel, the absolute value of the second voltage being lower than the element driving voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
