PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excessive cooling of an engine body by appropriately operating a radiator cooling fan to increase fuel efficiency.
SOLUTION: A fan driving a radiator is switched on and off when a cooling water temperature K" in the engine body is a previously set value. A set temperature K' switching off the fan is set at a low temperature K2 while a fuel is supplied to be operated, and set at a high temperature K3 while a main shaft is rotated while fuel supply is stopped. When a vehicle runs on a down slope, the main shaft may rotate while fuel supply is stopped. In this case, the fan is stopped a little earlier by setting the cooling fan stop temperature K' at the high temperature K3 to prevent electric power from being wastefully consumed so as to prevent excessive cooling of the engine body.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
