<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eccentricity correcting member for a universal caster particularly usable for an automatic carrier, capable of using the universal caster available on the market, correcting a defect of the eccentric quantity of the caster, and almost eliminating lateral rolling motion and meandering of the carrier. <P>SOLUTION: This eccentricity correcting member includes at least a lower plate 1 for installing the universal caster 4 on one end side of an under surface, an upper plate 2 rotatably journaled to the other end side upper surface of the lower plate 1 and a rolling member 3 installed between the lower plate 1 and the upper plate 2. When installing the universal caster 4 on the lower plate 1, the upper plate 2 is preferably journaled by the lower plate 1 so that the central axis 21 of the upper plate 2 is located by an amount of eccentricity E from the center line of a turning part 43 of the universal caster 4 according to an amount of eccentricity e of a wheel 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
