<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring internal pressure of a battery capable of measuring an internal pressure for the battery with sufficient accuracy based on displacement of a battery case. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of measuring internal pressure of a lithium ion secondary battery 10 formed by housing a wound electrode 11 and an electrolyte in a battery case 12 and sealing it, a predetermined external pressure is applied to the battery case 12, the battery 10 is arranged in a vacuum chamber 20 to detect displacement of the battery case 12 and pressure change in the vacuum chamber 20 under a pressure-reduced atmosphere, and an internal pressure in the battery 10 is estimated based on detected displacement and pressure change. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
