<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motion guide device facilitating the incorporation of rollers and the confirmation of the incorporated state. <P>SOLUTION: A slider body 12 and a temporary shaft 24 are placed upside down so that the rail bottom face side 24e of the temporary shaft 24 is on the topside (step 302), and a notched part 24d of the temporary shaft 24 is moved to form an open part 12d on a roller raceway surface 12b of a second passage of the slider body 12 (step 303). A roller insertion tool 38 is installed at the open part 12d of the roller raceway surface 12b of the second passage and at the installation surface 12c of a return passage 12a' of a first passage to incorporate the rollers 37 (step 305). After the incorporation is completed (step 306: Yes), a mounting cover 16 is mounted to the return passage 12a' of the first passage (step 307), and the temporary shaft 24 is moved to detach the notched part 24d from the slider body 12 (step 308).
