<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel base variable vehicle which is constituted to secure rigidity in elongation/contraction. <P>SOLUTION: A wheel base variable vehicle comprises a wheel base variable frame 2 formed of a front frame 3 in which a front wheel 6 is provided to be rotated freely and a rear frame 5 which is provided to be freely elongated and contracted in a longitudinal direction while being inserted to and ejected from the front frame 3 in a nesting manner. The front frame includes a steering device 12, a driver's seat part 3c in which a driver's seat 10 is provided and a lock means which locks the rotation of the front wheel. The rear frame 5 includes a rear wheel 13 and a rear wheel drive means which rotationally drives the rear wheel. At both right and left sides of the wheel base variable frame and between these front and rear frames, the wheel base variable vehicle comprises frame clamp means 3e, 16b, 16c, 17 in which relative movement in the longitudinal direction between the front and rear frames can be clamped freely at two positions where the wheel base variable frame is brought into a long wheel base state and a short wheel base state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
