A modernized armored vehicle for units of protection of public order is made on the base of the BTR-80, which comprises a chassis, on which an engine and an armored body are mounted, in the front of the body the seats for driver and crew are mounted, hatches for crew and driver, windows, a periscope device, controls of a vehicle, instrument panels, ventilation and lighting facilities, facilities for mounting quick release devices for dumping and ram with a variable angle of inclination relative to the central longitudinal axis of the body, holes for tow hooks, on the upper part of the body there are mounted: a tower, a platform with railings, cylinders with tear gas. On the upper part of the tower there are installed: a loophole, a lighting acoustic unit and a camcorder. Mounting of the camcorders on the upper part of the tower enables them to rotate about their axes in vertical and horizontal planes. |
