A method of grinding solid fuel, mainly coke for ferroalloy production, includes pre-screening fuel with separation of 10-25 mm grade, selective crushing and sieving fuel remaining prior to obtaining 10-25 mm grade fuel (coke "nut"). For preliminary screening fuel, mainly bulk coke of wet quenching, it is forwarded by a conveyer of bulk coke to a roll screen for separation into +25 mm and 0-25 mm grades. The coke of 0-25 mm through an unbalanced-throw screen where it is separated into 10-25 mm and 0-10 mm grades and sent to bunkers for shipment to consumer, and the fuel in the form blast-furnace coke of +25 mm from the roll screen is directed to a double-rolled crusher of mobile crushing plant, which consists of a crusher and conveyor belts connected to each other and mounted on railway cars. Crushed fuel by conveyers of the mobile crushing plant is sent to the conveyer of bulk coke connected thereto, where it along with bulk coke again enters the roll screen and separated again into +25 mm, 10-25 mm, 0-10 mm grades, and 25 mm fuel grade is re-fed into the crusher of mobile crushing plant and the process is repeated. |
