<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device and a display control method which can prevent an intermittent display and a flicker by predicting time required for acquiring character data information in a reception display of character data of a radio broadcast and a television broadcast. <P>SOLUTION: A display control device includes: a reception frequency acquisition unit 101 which acquires a reception frequency; a reception quality acquisition unit 102 which acquires reception quality of the reception frequency; a first data acquisition unit 103 which acquires first data related to the reception frequency; a second data acquisition unit 104 which receives and acquires second data from the reception frequency; a display control unit 105 which controls the display of the first data from the acquisition of the first data to the acquisition of the second data by using the reception quality; and a display unit 106 which displays the first and second data on the basis of the control by the display control unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
