<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound semiconductor solar cell which allows for production of a cell having excellent photoelectric conversion characteristics with high yield, even when a cell having a large area is manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: In the compound semiconductor solar cell where lattice mismatch is relaxed by providing an intermediate layer 35 including an intermediate first layer 83, an intermediate second layer 82, and an intermediate third layer 81 between sub-cells having a large lattice constant difference, the first lattice constant difference ratio, i.e., the ratio of lattice constant difference between the intermediate first layer 83 located at a position closest to a second sub-cell 36 and the intermediate second layer 82 adjoining the intermediate first layer 83 is larger than a second lattice constant difference ratio, i.e., the ratio of lattice constant difference between the intermediate third layer 81 adjoining the intermediate second layer 82 and the intermediate second layer 82, the first lattice constant difference ratio is 0.78% or less, and the lattice constant difference between adjoining layers of a plurality of layers decreases toward a first sub-cell 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
