<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more excellently suppress vibration or noise from an engine by accurately controlling the revolution speed of the engine by an electric motor connected to the output shaft of the engine via a torsion element. <P>SOLUTION: When an engine 22 is run, the revolution speed Nm1 of a motor MG1 is obtained, and the obtained revolution speed Nm1 is corrected based on the torsion angle θd of a damper 28 serving as a torsion element to calculate a control revolution number Nmc1 (steps S130 to S150).
