<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an angular velocity without deteriorating detection accuracy even in a digital circuit configuration that cannot output a driving signal having an angular frequency equal to a resonance angular frequency to an oscillator. <P>SOLUTION: A driving circuit 3 excites an oscillator 1 with a driving signal having an angular frequency that changes in a frequency higher than the maximum value of an angular velocity to be detected centering on a resonance angular velocity of the oscillator 1. A driving angular frequency is persistently changed by setting the gain of an open loop transfer function of a PLL circuit 7 for the changing frequency to 1 and a phase to -180°. A detection circuit 4 makes a detection signal obtained by synchronously detecting a sense signal pass through a low-pass filter 18 having a cut-off angular frequency higher than the maximum value of an angular velocity to be detected and lower than a change frequency of the angular frequency of the driving signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
