PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional system in which when a phone call is received from the same person in succession while the receiver continues viewing TV, the call tends to be continuously ignored, which is discourteous to the caller.

SOLUTION: A content reproduction device comprises a communication unit which is capable of network based communication; an incoming call determination unit which determines whether there is any communication call when a content is being viewed; a determination result acquisition unit which acquires the result of determination of whether or not to start communication when the incoming call determination unit determined that there is an incoming call; a first attribute information acquisition unit which acquires first attribution information which is attribute information including a time at which the currently viewed content will finish; and a first notification unit which can transmit notification information to the other party of communication by using the acquired first attribute information.
