<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection clip for a torque receiving part, which is mounted easily and can maintain an assembled attitude, and to provide a method for forming an attaching recess thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A protection clip 10 is fitted into a concave part of a torque receiving part, into which a lug part of a brake pad is inserted. The protection clip 10 includes: a clip insertion part 20 which is brought into contact along outer peripheral side and inner peripheral sidewall surfaces in a rotor radial direction of the recess; a pressure receiving part 30 which is bent from one end of the clip insertion part and extends along an attaching lower side face of the torque receiving part; a first separation preventing claw 40 which is bent from another end of the clip insertion part in contact with the outer peripheral sidewall surface to an attaching upper side face of the torque receiving part and is fitted to one of a pair of recesses formed over an opening of the recess; a second separation preventing claw 50 which is bent from the attaching lower side face to the recess, between the clip insertion part and the pressure receiving part, and fitted into the other of the pair of recesses; and a clamp claw 60 which protrudes from the other end of the clip insertion part along the outer peripheral sidewall surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
