<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push rod type valve gear which opens and closes first and second engine valves even if they are arranged parallel with an axial line of a crankshaft and at both sides of a plane including the axial line of a cylinder bore. <P>SOLUTION: A valve gear 35 includes first and second rocker shafts 48a and 48b arranged in parallel with a cam shaft 36; first and second rocker arms 42a and 42b which are supported by the first rocker shaft 48a and connected to a cam shaft 36 via first and second push rods 40a and 40b; a third rocker arm 42c which is supported by the second rocker shaft 48b, connected to the first rocker arm 42a via a first link 43a and abuts to a second engine valve 29e; a fourth rocker arm 42d which is supported by the second rocker shaft 48b and connected to the second rocker arm 42b via a second link 43b; and a fifth rocker arm 42e which is supported by the first rocker shaft 48a, connected to the fourth rocker arm 42d and abuts to a first engine valve 29i. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
