<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of improving work efficiency when discarding a control board mounted with a timing circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus comprises: a timing circuit for generating time information; an electric double layer capacitor for supplying power to the timing circuit; a charging circuit for charging the electric double layer capacitor; a power supply circuit for supplying a direct current to the charging circuit by using a commercial power supply. The timing circuit, the electric double layer capacitor and the charging circuit are formed on a common control board. The charging circuit comprises: a current supply circuit for supplying the charging current to the electric double layer capacitor; and a comparator which compares a storage voltage of the electric double layer capacitor with a first reference voltage and a second reference voltage, and allows a supply of the charging current on the basis of the comparison result. The comparator stops the supply of the charging current if the storage voltage exceeds the first reference voltage when charging, and restarts the supply of the charging current if the storage voltage is below the second reference voltage smaller than the first reference voltage when discharging. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
