<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of accurately measuring the amount of toner adhered in a high concentration toner pattern without using a record sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device: rotates a photoreceptor drum at a peripheral speed V1 (S2); drives an intermediate transfer belt to circulate at a peripheral speed V2 (>V1) (S3); forms a toner pattern on the photoreceptor drum (S4); and transfers the toner pattern on the photoreceptor drum to the intermediate transfer belt (S5), where by a speed difference between the photoreceptor drum and the intermediate transfer belt, the line width of the toner pattern after transfer is wider than a line width on the photoreceptor drum before transfer; detects the toner pattern on the intermediate transfer belt by a sensor (S6); calculates the amount of toner adhered to the toner image of the toner pattern on the basis of the detected signal (S7); and corrects an image formation condition to determine an image formation condition corresponding to a target concentration (S8) so that the amount of the adhered toner coincides with the target concentration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
