A method for the simulation of excess weight involves feeding of experimental animals with standard food for first week followed by feeding with hypercaloric food. The hypercaloric food comprising pearl barley, fresh frozen sea fish, green head cabbage, refined sunflower oil, rendered lard, pasteurized milk and wheat-bread is fed to animals for 30 days, thereafter body mass index is measured. |
