摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components, and breathe from a reducer chamber while securing a large volume for carrying out sufficient gas-liquid separation. <P>SOLUTION: A power unit for an electric vehicle includes an electric motor 38, and a reducer 39 which reduces an output of the electric motor and transmits to a drive wheel side. A motor chamber 45 for housing the electric motor and the reducer chamber 46 for housing the reducer are adjacently formed in a power unit case 40 for housing the electric motor and the reducer by interposing a bulkhead 42b between each other. A drainage hole 96 communicating with a lower part of the motor chamber 45 is arranged in a lower part of the power unit case 40.
