PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a longitudinal material arranging and mounting apparatus capable of positively preventing a gap from occurring between a sheet material and a longitudinal material when positioning and welding the longitudinal material at a prescribed attitude at a prescribed position on the sheet material and thereby suitably welding the longitudinal material to the sheet material.

SOLUTION: The longitudinal material arranging and mounting apparatus 1 for positioning and welding the longitudinal material 4 at a prescribed attitude at a prescribed position on the sheet material 3 includes a longitudinal material pressing mechanism 34 for pressing the longitudinal material 4 to the sheet material 3, and a reaction force applying mechanism 33 for applying reaction force opposing the pressing force applied to the longitudinal material 4 by the longitudinal steel material pressing mechanism 34, to the sheet material 3.
