<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger, capable of suppressing both the deterioration of turbine efficiency and the dispersion of gas flow rates between scroll passages. <P>SOLUTION: The turbocharger is provided with a turbine housing a turbine wheel 32. The turbine includes a first scroll passage 33 and a second scroll passage 34 extending in a spiral form on the outer periphery of the turbine wheel 32. A center housing in which a shaft integrally fixed to the turbine wheel 32 is rotatably supported is provided at a position adjacent to the turbine. Of angles formed, in a cross section of the turbine at a rotation axis L1 of the turbine wheel 32, by a line LB showing the extending direction of each scroll passage 33, 34 and the rotation axis L1, the angle ω including the front edge of the turbine wheel 32 is set to be increased toward the downstream side of the scroll passages 33, 34 (Fig.4 [A]→Fig.4 [B]→Fig.4 [C]→Fig.4[D]). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
