<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseboard device which is strongly attachable in a stable state. <P>SOLUTION: A configuration of engaging a jaw part (13) with a horizontal member (3) by moving movable catch means (12A) freely swingably provided on at least one end of a baseboard body (11) forward to a lock position (LP) includes an operation mechanism (16) comprising an actuation hole (33) opened on the movable catch means (12A), an actuation shaft (29) inserted to the actuation hole (33) and operation means (31) for swinging the movable catch means (12A) in back and forth directions by moving the actuation shaft (29).
