<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle speaker unit which can improve designability, making occupants hardly feel or not to feel the existence of a speaker, and can enhance the fixing strength of the speaker with respect to an interior base material. <P>SOLUTION: The on-vehicle speaker unit 1 which is provided to an interior base material (a ceiling) of a vehicle, consists of an interior material (a ceiling base material 5) formed by overlapping and clamping a skin 2, a core material 3 and a grill member 4 provided with a plurality of holes 4a, and of a speaker 6 mounted in the interior base material. The grill member is held in a state of being covered with the skin by being sandwiched between the skin and core material bonded to each other through caulking.
