<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of suppressing the deterioration of performance to separate sucked dust-containing air into dust and air by centrifugal force with high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A cyclone type dust collecting device 26 including a dust collection cup 81, an exhaust pipe 101, and a partition means 111 is disposed on the upstream side of an electric blower. The dust collection cup 81 has an inlet 86 of the dust-containing air, an upper space is a separation chamber 81a swirling the dust-containing air to separate it into air and dust, and a lower space is a dust collection chamber 81b accumulating the dust. The exhaust pipe 101 has a filter 104 filtering the dust in an air current. The filter 104 is disposed in a center part of the separation chamber 81a, and the exhaust pipe 101 is provided inside the dust collection cup 81. The partition means 111 is installed to the exhaust pipe 101. The diameter of the means is enlarged so as to partition both the chambers 81a, 81b in an operation state, and is contracted so as to form a gap G through which the dust inside the separation chamber 81a falls into the dust collection chamber 81b, between the partition means 111 and the inner circumferential face of the dust collection cup 81 in an operation stop state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
