<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect various alignment failures, such as a positional deviation, omission, and falling down of articles which disturb an alignment state about an article row requested to be an alignment state. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is a method for inspecting whether an article row is in an alignment state. In a preparation process, a belt-like ray R is radiated to the row P<SB POS="POST">a</SB>of articles a<SB POS="POST">1</SB>to a<SB POS="POST">4</SB>in an alignment state so as to cut the row of the articles over the total width of the row in a row direction to generate a ray cutting line L along the contour of each article on the surface of the respective articles a<SB POS="POST">1</SB>to a<SB POS="POST">4</SB>and to acquire an image to be reference by imaging the ray cutting line L. In an inspection process, the same belt-like ray R is radiated to the row P<SB POS="POST">b</SB>of articles b<SB POS="POST">1</SB>to b<SB POS="POST">4</SB>to be inspected, and whether the row P<SB POS="POST">b</SB>of the articles b<SB POS="POST">1</SB>to b<SB POS="POST">4</SB>to be inspected is in an alignment state is discriminated by collating an inspection object image with the image to be reference after imaging the ray cutting line L generated at a position corresponding to a generation position of the ray cutting line imaged in the preparation process to acquire the inspection object image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
