<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge development and a two-component developer, in which the toner is excellent in low-temperature fixability and free of aggregation even when stored at high temperature, although glycerin or a glycerin derivative is used, and the toner can be charged into a desired charge amount. <P>SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic charge image development comprises at least a binder resin, a colorant, a charge control agent, and a release agent. The binder resin is a copolymer between a carboxylic acid component and an alcohol component comprising at least glycerin and/or at least one glycerin derivative selected from the group consisting of 1,2-propanediol, 1,3-propanediol, and monoacylglycerol having 12 to 20 carbon atoms in an acyl group.
